Terms & Conditions
Original artwork prices can be obtained upon request and any postage and packing or travelling to the customer's house will be charged as extra unless alternative arrangements have been discussed prior to the completion of an order. Paintings are not framed, unless agreed beforehand with the customer. Payment must be received in full before the painting is delivered to the customer.
Limited edition prints
Full payment is required upon receipt of any order of prints.
If a customer wishes to commission Julie Price to paint a specific painting they should contact her to discuss their requirements. The customer can either provide Julie Price with a photograph or ask Julie Price to take photograph(s) on their behalf. Once the customer has instructed Julie Price which photograph they would like painted she will start painting it.
Upon completion, and framing having been discussed, the painting can either be delivered in person (depending on locality), personally collected or posted to the customer. The time taken on each painting will depend on each individual request.
Pricing is based on the size of the painting, the detail in it and how long it will take to finish. Framing, travel expenses and crating/shipping costs are additional. Fifty percent of the agreed painting fee is due when the photographs are taken (or provided by the customer), with the balance due upon completion of the painting(s).
Any photographic images taken by Julie Price remain the copyright of Julie Price. All photographic images received by Julie Price will be returned to the customer once a painting order has been finished.
Delivery and carriage
All orders will be packed securely and dispatched within 7 days of receipt of full payment. It is my aim to deliver within this time but I cannot be held responsible for any actions by Royal Mail which may result in delay of delivery. You can email me on juliepriceartist.com if you have not received your order within 10 days. Courier and packing charges are set by Royal Mail. Arrangements can be made by email for discounts on multiple orders via courier, personal collections or in some cases, personal delivery. For orders outside of the UK, please email and all charges will be agreed upon before any order is undertaken.
When a commission order is agreed, the customer is required to pay 50% of the total order, with the remaining balance payable upon completion of the finished painting (plus any pre agreed P&P charges). When a pre-completed original painting or limited editiion print is ordered, payment in full is required plus any additional P&P charges (which will be pre-agreed).
Payments can be made by Paypal within a secure server.
Payments can also be made by bank transfer (payment details can be obtained upon request once order details have been agreed).
Commissions: due to the nature of commissioned paintings, any work undertaken will have gone through a process of understanding the style in which Julie Price works with acrylic paints. Every effort will be made to ensure that all paintings will be to the highest quality and ability that Julie Price can offer as an artist. Therefore, any amendments to any painting order that the customer wishes to make will be at the discretion of Julie Price.
Original paintings of subjects chosen by Julie Price: all orders are final and non-refundable. Any damages made during transit is the responsibility of the customer not to accept the order, the courier will return them to the dispatch office.

Paintings and mounted prints should always be hung with suitable fixings. If for any reason you are not happy with any part of your order, please notify Julie Price within 72 hours.
All artists' images remain the copyright of Julie Price. Any breach of the copyright without prior permission by Julie Price will result in prosecution.
