A Spitalfields Christmas
Every year I paint a new picture to celebrate Christmas in Spitalfields and this year I painted a Victorian lady sashaying past Town House in Fournier Street with her head held high, I've named her Molly. Other paintings I have had printed as cards in celebration of festive scenes in the East End area include the courtyard of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, A. Gold, Dennis Severs House, Leadenhall Market, Spitalfields door knockers (that remind me of a Christmas Carol), a Spitalfields Christmas wreath and the gorgeous 18th century Leadenhall Market. The cards are available on my website
If you have ideas for any East End scenes that you think would make nice Christmas paintings I would love to hear from you!
